New programme of social enterprise events - and you get to design them!

CERT are now delighted to announce the first part of a programme of events and services for new and existing social enterprises that are designed to grow the social economy in the Humber and surrounding area.

As well as delivering a series of workshops we are also, now available to offer advice and guidance to prospective and existing social enterprises in and around the Humber region.

There has been a distinct absence of dedicated social enterprise support for a few years and it's really pleasing that two national funders have recognised the need for bespoke advice and guidance. Their support means that all of the programme is free of charge to you.

CERT is offering help in four ways:

1. Lunchtime briefings - 1 hour workshops designed to get you up to speed on an issue and point you in the direction of further help

2. Master Classes - Full day workshops covering a topic in detail

3. Network events - where new and existing social enterprises can gather and discuss the things that matter to them. Events will feature guest speakers and we will be encouraging the public sector to get involved where they have a role to play

4. One-to-one business support from qualified and experienced advisors.

We want all of the workshops and networking events to be relevant to you and so we are now looking for your suggestions for topics that we need to cover or things that you would like to know more about - we will do the work so you don't have to!

Having recently secured the support of Players of the People's Post Code Lottery and the Connect Fund we are starting the programme this week.

To get the ball rolling we have put a series of events based on feedback from our service users - after these it's up to you!
